The agro-industrial complex of the district is represented by the agricultural unitary enterprise "Ross-Agro".
The agricultural organization specializes in dairy and beef cattle breeding with grain and rapeseed production.
The total land area of the agricultural organization in the district is 24,437 hectares, of which agricultural land is 16,434 hectares, including arable land – 12,414 hectares. The soil quality index of agricultural land is 22.9, arable land – 24.0. Sod-podzolic soils predominate.
The number of rural workers is 329 people.
