Belarusmedica expo opens in Minsk

In the summer period of 2023, it is planned to provide health improvement for 43,072 children in the Vitebsk region, including 17,472 children in camps with round-the-clock stays and 25,600 children in camps with day stays.

There will be 33 suburban stationary camps operating in the region, 19 of which are owned by budgetary organizations and 14 camps are owned by enterprises.

In 2023, 2 suburban stationary camps will open: "Braslavskaya Volna" of the education department of the Braslav District Executive Committee for 60 places per shift and "Alyi Parus" of the education department of the Shumilino District Executive Committee for 70 places per shift.

Additionally, camps with round-the-clock stays will open in Lepel and Orsha districts on leased premises.

The average cost of a voucher to health improvement camps is planned to be 690.00 rubles.

1,400 teenagers will rest and work in labor and recreation camps. Children will perform work on landscaping and gardening, repair of schools and school furniture, sewing of workwear, plant care, and will work in agricultural enterprises.

It is planned to provide health improvement for 1,600 orphans and children left without parental care, and 370 children with disabilities. Children from large families and employees of budgetary organizations will not be overlooked; for these categories of children, funds in the amount of 65,000 rubles are provided from the regional budget for additional payment to the full cost of vouchers.

105 thousand rubles from the republican budget and 755 thousand rubles from the regional budget have been allocated for the preparation and strengthening of the material and technical base of suburban health improvement camps.

In the "Raduga" health improvement camp, 40 children with disabilities under 18 years of age will undergo health improvement in 2 groups: children with disabilities diagnosed with cerebral palsy and musculoskeletal disorders, visual and hearing impairments, and diabetes mellitus, accompanied by doctors. The regional budget provides for the payment of vouchers for wheelchair users with escorts to the "Izumrudny" health improvement camp of the education department of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee, where the building and playground have been renovated, and an accessible environment has been created for children with disabilities.

Country health resorts are in high demand among parents, as the health-improving effect of children's recreation in a forest area on a stationary basis is incomparable in quality to children staying in a day camp at general education institutions in the city.
