MPs ratify protocol to Belarus-Russia regional security agreement
The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, introduced the new head of the Orsha District, Igor Moroz, at an extraordinary 74th session of the District Council of Deputies.
Previously, Igor Alexandrovich held the position of Chairman of the Senno District Executive Committee. At the session, the deputies unanimously approved Igor Moroz as the Chairman of the District Executive Committee. The head of the region solemnly presented the certificate to the new head of the district and explained to those present why the decision was made to send Igor Moroz here.
The governor outlined the main directions of the upcoming work in the Orsha District, emphasizing its significance both for the Vitebsk region and for the republic as a whole.
– The region is a pilot project in the country. And the achieved success needs to be replicated in other regions. As well as to learn from mistakes. Therefore, literally everything is under constant control: starting from the village, industry, social sphere, improvement, etc. Tasks have been set in all directions, – noted Alexander Subbotin.
He also thanked Igor Isachenko for his work in the region, noting his merits.
In turn, Igor Moroz emphasized that he will try to justify the trust placed in him, not to let down the head of state, the governor, and, of course, the people of Orsha region.
– Yesterday, at the appointment with the President, the lion's share of the time was devoted to the Orsha District, – stated the new head of the region. – Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko has a very tender attitude towards the Orsha region. He personally set tasks for me for the development of the district. He focused special attention on the industrial sector and agriculture. But do not forget about healthcare, education, culture, and improving the quality of life of the population. The topic of the upcoming elections was also touched upon.
Igor Moroz added that the criterion for evaluating the work of any government is the improvement of the population's well-being, therefore all aspirations will be directed precisely at this.
