More state-funded places, fewer tuition-paying places in Belarusian universities
In the urban settlement of Kokhanovo, Tolochin District, a bridge on the NZ100 Orsha – Kokhanovo – Obeltsy highway has been commissioned ahead of schedule after reconstruction. Not long ago, this facility, which received a new lease on life within the framework of the state program "Roads of Belarus" for 2021-2025, was in a state of disrepair.
– Today is a significant event for the residents of Kokhanovo – after a six-month repair, the bridge over the Sokolyanka River has been commissioned. This is a very important facility, – emphasized the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev, during the grand opening ceremony of the bridge. – The roadway has been widened to 9 meters, and the sidewalk – to 1.5 meters. Now the bridge has become all-weather and all-season. We are not stopping here – we will continue to transform the settlement.
