Interaction between investigative committees of Belarus, Russia hailed as close

In the Vitebsk region, 60 electoral districts will be formed for the elections of deputies of the 29th convocation of the regional council in 2024. This decision was made today at the session of the Vitebsk Regional Council. The deputies also determined the average number of voters per district, which will be 13,900 people.

One of the features of the upcoming electoral campaign will be the formation of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. At the session, deputies approved the procedure for electing delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly from the local Councils of Deputies of the Vitebsk region.

In 2024, Belarus will hold a unified voting day for the first time. The composition of the parliament will be formed during the elections, and citizens will also elect deputies to local Councils of various levels. The unified voting day is provided for by the updated Constitution. It is the last Sunday of February. Thus, the first unified voting day will take place on February 25, 2024.
