Second unit of BelNPP connected to grid
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is orienting those responsible for the agro-industrial complex towards exporting predominantly finished products, rather than raw materials or semi-finished goods. He stated this during a working trip to the Orsha district.
"We need to be resourceful now and think. Not to export raw materials or semi-finished products, but finished products," the President said.
One example is the presence of certain volumes of dry milk in warehouses. As officials responsible for the agro-industrial complex assured Alexander Lukashenko, they expect to sell this product soon, and the situation does not cause concern.
But Alexander Lukashenko cited an example of products made from dry milk in China: "They take dry milk. And they press it into a candy form. Why don't we do that?"
Honey or other fillers are added to such candies, resulting in a tasty, inexpensive, and healthy product that is very popular in the Chinese market. Alexander Lukashenko is confident that similar candies, which he has tried himself, could also appeal to residents of Belarus, as well as other countries.
