Union State PA delegation to take part in IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians
In accordance with the training plan for the territorial defense bodies of the Vitebsk region, the territorial defense gathering, which lasted about 20 days, is concluding today in the Polotsk district.
– We are doing this to check our combat readiness once again, – said the chairman of the regional executive committee, Alexander Subbotin. – The task also consists of checking the coordinated work of all services in case of need, the readiness of the people's militia to act in difficult and dangerous situations. It is important to synchronize the actions of the people's militia with the actions of territorial troops and the acting armed forces in case of martial law. We really must keep our powder dry.
During the final stage of the exercise, the actions of territorial defense forces and assets were simulated for hostage rescue and the liberation of a captured bridge.
