PM comments on Belarus' preparations to mark Great Victory anniversary
At a joint meeting of the Presidium of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies and the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the draft "On electoral districts for the election of deputies of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies of the 29th convocation" was discussed and approved.
– The formation of districts has now been completed, – noted Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee. – 14 districts have been formed, which are necessary for holding parliamentary elections. Today we are approving 60 districts, which are necessary for holding elections to local councils of deputies. An analysis of the electorate that participated in the republican referendum has been carried out, and based on these figures, we have formed districts for the Vitebsk region. Unlike previous electoral campaigns, there are no major changes. After the President's decree on the appointment of the election day is issued, work will be carried out in accordance with the Electoral Code.
