Minsk to host CIS intergovernmental timber industry and forestry council meeting

The installation of the region's main New Year tree is actively underway at Victory Square in Vitebsk. This year, the New Year beauty will be about 35 m high.

Approximately 300 evergreen trees will be used in the decoration. The fir trees will be adorned with a multitude of diverse golden and burgundy balls, numbering over 1200 pieces. A fairytale atmosphere will be created by numerous lights (1.5 km of LED garlands).
