New flights, air safety highlighted as main results for Belarusian aviation industry in 2023
The movement of youth law enforcement units (MOOP) of the Vitebsk region unites over 800 young men and women. Every year, the ranks of the fighters are replenished.
Thus, at the Pervomaisky (Vitebsk) department of the Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, a solemn presentation of certificates to MOOP participants took place, as well as an award ceremony for the best fighters.
– Youth law enforcement units are rightfully one of the calling cards of the BRSM, carrying out an important and responsible mission. Together with law enforcement officers, the fighters ensure public order during mass events, actively interact with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, with whom they conduct various campaigns, such as "Winter Patrol," "Summer Patrol," etc., – noted Oleg Tereshkov, First Secretary of the Pervomaisky District Committee of the BRSM. – It is also worth noting that MOOP fighters will assist police officers at polling stations in maintaining law and order on the unified voting day.
The ranks of MOOP were replenished by 55 young men and women. The newcomers practiced the tactics of administrative detention, basic self-defense techniques, the basics of hand-to-hand combat, safety measures during the detention and delivery of offenders to the internal affairs bodies, as well as practical shooting.
