Italy’s agricultural enterprises on visit to Belarus

The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Department of Internal Affairs summed up the results of the first stage of the professional skills competition for the title of the best employee of the economic crime units. This was reported to BELTA by the internal affairs department of the northern region.

"The economic crime units of the Vitebsk region employ highly qualified, competent, and up-to-date employees," noted Alexander Makaryuk, Deputy Head of the Criminal Police of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Department of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel.

Ten operatives, who have a track record of numerous detected grave and particularly grave crimes, competed for the title of the best employee in the region. The competition participants demonstrated their knowledge of current legislation and departmental regulations. They showed excellent results in firearms and physical training. The employees showcased their acting skills in the public speaking competition.

Based on the results of all the tests, the best employees of the economic crime units of the Vitebsk region were Viktor Sobolevsky, Viktor Ovsyannikov, and Pavel Botyan. The first two law enforcement officers represented the Department of Internal Affairs, while Pavel Botyan defended the honor of the Orsha District Department of Internal Affairs team. The winner and prize-winners of the competition will represent the Vitebsk region in the capital at the second stage of the "Best Employee of the Economic Crime Units" competition, where they will compete for the title of the best employee in the republic.
