Belarus’ National Center for Marketing, Uzbekistan’s Export Promotion Agency discuss cooperation

Until February 25, the V.I. Lenin Vitebsk Regional Library, together with public libraries of the northern region, is holding the "Speak and Inspire" marathon dedicated to the International Mother Language Day.

As reported at the V.I. Lenin Vitebsk Regional Library, throughout the week of the marathon, visitors to the libraries can expect a variety of inspiring events dedicated to the Belarusian language. These include campaigns, contests, quizzes, book presentations, meetings with authors, and literary and musical evenings that will interest readers and allow them to experience the joy of communicating in their native language. The extensive program includes approximately 240 events and over 190 exhibitions.

Libraries from all districts of the Vitebsk region will also participate in the #VitsebskiSloŭnik campaign. The idea is to present one or more Belarusian words that are associatively linked to a specific district or city, words-brands that characterize a particular locality. Every day during the week, the @vitsebski_slounik Instagram account invites everyone to get acquainted with the Vitebsk region through words – Belarusian, unique, colorful, native, lovingly selected and illustrated by district libraries.
