Minsk to host Belarus-Türkiye business forum
The state enterprise "Gorsvet" of Vitebsk is set to replace old lamps with LED ones throughout the city by 2026. As of January 1, this work has been completed by more than 56 percent. This was announced by the enterprise director, Vasily Belousov.
According to him, a total of about 31.8 thousand luminaires were subject to replacement:
– The replacement of luminaires will allow the city to save electricity by at least three times. In 2023, 7 thousand lamps were replaced. As of January 1, more than 56 percent – 17.8 thousand luminaires – have been updated, with about 14 thousand remaining. For this year, 346 thousand rubles have been allocated to the enterprise for these purposes.
The renewal of the vehicle fleet will help accelerate the replacement of old lamps with LED ones. Today, two new VIPO-18-01 aerial work platforms based on MAZ "Kornet" vehicles, manufactured by the enterprise "Vitstroytekhmash," were handed over to SE "Gorsvet." The keys to the brand-new special equipment, purchased at the expense of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, were presented by the mayor, Gennady Sabinich:
– Vitebsk enterprises are actively engaged in updating their special vehicle fleet. The quality of services provided to the population depends on this. Today is a landmark day for the "Gorsvet" enterprise. In just a few months, the fleet of aerial work platforms has doubled, which will allow for faster completion of work on lighting courtyards, central highways, and the construction of new lighting in residential areas.
