More than 10.3 thousand children from the Vitebsk region will rest in school camps during the spring break, reported the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population.
During the spring break, more than 10.3 thousand boys and girls will rest and recover in school camps, including 4.2 thousand young athletes who will be in day camps. Also, 90 schoolchildren will be sent on a voucher for nine days to the round-the-clock camp "Druzhnye Rebyata" in the Vitebsk district.
As a rule, parents of primary school children use the opportunity to send their child to a school camp, as at this age, boys and girls often need supervision. For six days, they will be provided with three meals a day - breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. A leisure program will also be prepared for the schoolchildren, which will include patriotic events, preventive safety lessons with rescuers and police officers. In Vitebsk, for example, cultural trips to the cinema and theater are planned.
The regional department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population noted that about Br320 thousand have been allocated for the organization of holiday recreation and health improvement for children in the Vitebsk region.
