AutoShow 2024 near Minsk

Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin took part in the city-wide clean-up event held in Vitebsk.

The main goal of the event is the improvement and tidying up of the regional center, which will host the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, the celebration of the 1050th anniversary of the city, and then the International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" next week.

The head of the region worked at one of the sites that will be involved in these significant events for the Vitebsk region – the "Vitebsk" hotel. Currently, the final touches are being made here before the arrival of numerous guests.

– The large-scale transformation of the regional center is linked to the forum of regions, the international festival, and the anniversary of Vitebsk. For the residents, the main celebration is City Day, its 1050th anniversary and the 80th anniversary of liberation. As a Vitebsk resident, I also decided to take part in preparing my hometown for the holiday, – noted Alexander Subbotin.

The head of the region, together with the Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee Gennady Sabyinich and the heads of administrations, planted decorative maples and mountain pines, which adorned the territory near the hotel. It has been noticeably transformed after a large-scale reconstruction. While preserving its recognizable architectural appearance, its "interior" has been completely changed and now meets modern standards and requirements.

As a result of the reconstruction, the parking lot has been expanded, including for tourist transport, an original canopy has been installed over the building's unloading area, and the guest reception and registration area has been updated.
The rooms have become more comfortable, and studios have appeared, featuring a small kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom.

A sports complex with exercise equipment, a billiard room, and a lounge area is located on the third floor. The conference hall and cafe have been changed. Alexander Subbotin inspected the hotel and expressed confidence that guests of Vitebsk will like it.

By the way, the reconstruction is planned to continue after the forum and festival. The second phase involves equipping a SPA salon on the basement floor. There are other interesting ideas as well.
