Over 76,000 Ukrainian citizens arrive in Belarus since 1 January 2024

According to the regional agricultural sales department, 120 thousand hectares have been harvested to date, yielding 293.3 thousand tons at a yield of 24.4 centners per hectare. The best performance was in Vitebsk – 35.2 centners per hectare and Orsha (35 centners per hectare) districts.

Winter rapeseed has been harvested from 29.4 thousand hectares (86.5%), yielding 41.9 thousand tons of oilseeds, with a yield of 14.2 centners per hectare. Combines also have only a few hectares of early cereal grass seeds left to thresh (a total of 4498 hectares).

Flax has been pulled from almost 6.3 thousand hectares (55.5%).

20.3 thousand hectares of soil have been plowed for sowing winter rapeseed for the 2025 harvest. In total, this crop will occupy 60 thousand hectares.

Fodder procurement for the second cutting is ongoing. Perennial grasses have been mown on 94.6 thousand hectares (59.9%), with 13.02 centners of feed units prepared per conventional livestock head (on the same date in 2023, there were 8.38 centners of feed units).
