Sergeyenko takes stock of CSTO PA meeting
The Regulation on the Youth Parliament under the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies has been approved at the presidium of the Regional Council of Deputies.
- The parliamentary body is formed from the most active representatives of public associations, organizations, and deputies aged from 18 to 31, one from each district of the region, - informed the head of the Vitebsk region's deputy corps, Dmitry Demidov.
- Deputies to the regional youth parliament were nominated at the presidiums of district and city councils. These young people will represent Vitebsk region at the Youth Council under the National Assembly. The Regulation defines the main tasks and goals of the youth body. Governing bodies and relevant commissions have also been established.
The first meeting of the regional youth parliament has taken place. Olga Mlyavaya from the Vitebsk district was elected Chairperson of the Youth Council, with Anastasia Lyakhovich from the Tolochin district and Gennady Drozdov from Orsha elected as her deputies. Among the young parliamentarians are doctors, teachers, and cultural workers.
