Karanik: Belarus-China cooperation develops according to a rising trajectory
The landscaping object was the territory near the 70th kilometer of the M-8/E95 highway Russian Federation border – Vitebsk – Gomel – Ukraine border, the so-called Tarasenskaya interchange.
A labor force, which included member of the Council of the Republic Gleb Lapitsky, representatives of the deputy corps, the regional committee for natural resources and environmental protection, the district executive committee, the branch "DORSU No. 31" of RUE "Vitebskavtodor", and public organizations, planted about 300 maples.
According to the regional plan of measures for the Year of Improvement, each district, among other things, has been assigned the task of landscaping territories and planting trees and shrubs along republican highways. The planting plans for spring are being completed in the last days of April, and the work will continue in the autumn.
– Improvement is not just about planting trees and landscaping. It's just that now is the time for these specific works, a time for a kind of "spring sowing," – noted Alexander Subbotin. – The complex of planned works includes road repairs (about 1.3 million square meters of road surface will be repaired), yard improvement, construction of water de-ironing stations, and reconstruction of street lighting. In particular, about 13.7 thousand conventional lamps will be replaced with LED lights. This year, every corner of our land should become more beautiful.
