Beglov: Integration is impossible without inter-regional contacts
Gleb Lapitsky, Director of the International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk", summed up the results of the current arts forum, announcing some figures and facts.
6,647 people were accredited to "Slavianski Bazaar".
Vitebsk welcomed guests from 44 countries.
More than 200,000 spectators attended all the stage venues, with over 70,000 of them purchasing tickets.
To date, more than 15 million views of festival broadcasts have been recorded. The opening concert alone was watched by about 5 million people. Last year, these were representatives from 118 countries, and this year more are expected. This means that practically the whole world is following "Slavianski Bazaar".
Representatives of Belarus performed successfully in the competitions, winning the Grand Prix of the children's competition and the first prize of the adult competition.
"Slavianski Bazaar" received the status of a festival of kindness. Bloggers visited a children's hospital, and children from disadvantaged families attended the musical "Dreamers". Popular artists congratulated newlyweds.
