CIS plans over 100 cultural events in 2026–2028

Without highly educated specialists striving for continuous improvement and acquiring new knowledge, it is impossible for enterprises like "Vityaz," which produce innovative products, to develop.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, Dmitry Demidov, at a meeting with the work collective as part of the Unified Information Day on the topic "Education and Science – the Driving Force for the Development of Society and the State."

In his speech, Dmitry Demidov noted that Belarus is not rich in mineral resources, so everything created in our state is based on people's intellect, their professionalism, and patriotism. They work for the common good, and we need to cherish, value, and create conditions for the development of human capital.

State support for education plays a key role in ensuring equal access to knowledge for all segments of the population. Special attention is paid to state support for gifted students, and a special fund of the President is in place.

According to the education level index in 2024, Belarus ranked 40th out of 193 countries.
The export of educational services is a promising area for international cooperation and strengthening humanitarian ties. Approximately 34,000 foreign students from 110 countries study in Belarus.
