Belarus, Uzbekistan approve tourism cooperation roadmap through 2028
The Vitebsk venue brought together artists from two countries. On stage, spectators were treated to dance and song performances by Belarusian and Uzbek creative groups, artists, Grand Prix winners, and laureates of the International Children's Song Competition and the "Vitebsk" Pop Song Competition.
A touching moment was the screening of a fragment from the legendary film "Only Old Men Are Going to Battle." Symbolically, Romeo himself, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Rustam Sagdullaev, appeared on stage, and the audience generously applauded their beloved actor.
The beloved "Smuglyanka" and the performance "Are You Not From Vitebsk?" became highlights of the celebration. Students of VSU named after P. Masherov, Yana, Polina, and Timofey, were absolutely delighted with the folk dance "White Gold." Previously, the students had never seen national Uzbek costumes and creative performances, so the program was to their liking.
– This is the first time we've seen anything like it! It was vibrant and unique! – the students admitted.
And then the hall sang: "Through the years, through distances, on any road, in any direction..."
