Belarus notifies Poland, Lithuania about incoming drones this night
A solemn ceremony was held at the field of RUP "Vitebsk Zonal Institute of Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" to mark the threshing of 1 million tons of grain and rapeseed by the region's agrarians.
According to the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, considering the weather and all the circumstances, this is a real feat. The harvest was not easy: combine units were accompanied by heavy tractors in case of getting stuck in rain-soaked soil. The head of the region emphasized that everyone tried very hard and gave 120% this year. He expressed his immense gratitude to the Grodno, Minsk, Mogilev, and Gomel regions for sending combine harvester crews to help, which contributed to achieving the result, and called the 1 million tons one of the intermediate milestones that inspire further success.
Handing over a symbolic sheaf to Alexander Subbotin, the First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Sergey Levkovich, noted that the achieved indicator indicates that this is not the maximum level that the Vitebsk region can reach. However, under the current conditions, this is a serious achievement, as everyone who works the land knows. Regular rains affected the pace of the harvesting campaign. Inter-farm and inter-district transfer of equipment was used more than ever before, and other regions provided assistance. Without organized work at the district, regional, and republican levels, such a result would not have been achieved. In general, 1 million tons is a testament to the coordinated work of rural workers.
