Belarus marks Day of People’s Unity
Lepel hosted its first "Sportlandia" event for members of public associations and political parties, dedicated to the Day of National Unity.
As reported by Yuri Mily, head of the sports and tourism sector of the Lepel District Executive Committee, representatives from 10 public associations and political parties participated in the competitions. They were divided by lot into four teams of ten people each and competed in relays, contests, and quizzes on the history of the holiday, state symbols, and the Olympic movement. Both leaders of various levels and ordinary workers and students competed together.
The main outcome of the "Sportlandia: Strength in Unity! Be with Us in Sports!" event was vivid emotions, a boost of energy, and a good mood.
