Belarus’ border agency: Over 700 trucks are waiting to enter Poland
From November 20 to 25, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Minsk Region is conducting a set of preventive measures aimed at controlling passenger transportation, including by route transport (categories M2 and M3). This was reported to BELTA by the Department of Public Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee. Traffic police officers will daily monitor compliance with traffic rules by drivers of route transport vehicles and other traffic legislation.
Road patrols will pay special attention to the following violations: transporting passengers not wearing seat belts in intercity and suburban services, as well as exceeding the number of passenger seats indicated in the registration documents; exceeding the established speed limit; entering the oncoming traffic lane in places where it is prohibited; transporting passengers in a faulty vehicle; running a red light; failure to yield to pedestrians at pedestrian crossings.
