Belarus presents its tourism industry at major Tashkent fair
The "13 Meters" big top and the Gomel State Circus have arrived in Vitebsk. From November 28 to December 13, residents of the regional center and its guests will be presented with a large-scale international program featuring artists from Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and 30 species of animals and birds. "The circus company '13 Meters' (or big top) has only been operating for two years, but during this time it has won the hearts of the Belarusian public.
Many people wonder: why this magical number in the name? This is precisely the size of the circus ring," noted the company's director, Alexander Bulavintsev.
He said that the current program is a large-scale project created in collaboration with the Gomel State Circus. The audience will be presented with a truly grand show. It lasts 2.5 hours. 13 artists will perform for the public: flexible acrobats and equilibrists, skillful jugglers, graceful aerial gymnasts, and fearless tightrope walkers. "For the first time in Belarus, tightrope walkers from Kyrgyzstan have arrived, who will perform unusual tricks under the circus dome. Famous acrobat Roman Makhnev has arrived from Russia. He will perform over 20 somersaults on a large sports trampoline and a mesmerizing final trick, the 'drop' - a head-first flight from under the dome (this has also not been seen in Belarus before)," said the artistic director of the circus company "13 Meters," animal trainer Evgenia Grabovskaya.
A real circus has animals and birds. There are three dozen of them! Pigeons, geese, mischievous cats, various dogs, charming goats, a mini-pig, porcupines, a dancing pink pelican, ostriches, and a spotted deer will delight with their vibrant performances. The highlight of the program will be an attraction with trained Tibetan yaks. By the way, all animals are kept in ideal conditions. In the circus family, they are like children, treated very carefully and provided with round-the-clock care. Today, a big top circus is a comfortable circus with a high level of artist training. It is not inferior to stationary circuses. By the way, it is even heated. It is also accessible to everyone. Upcoming performances will be attended free of charge by people with disabilities: over 300 children and over 100 adults from different regions of the oblast. There will be a place for a person in a wheelchair in the VIP box near the arena. In addition, if there are people from the regions of the oblast who wish to attend the circus, their free transportation will be organized.
This winter, the circus company "13 Meters" will not say goodbye to Vitebsk, but will return in the spring with a new program. "Its name is 'Secrets of the Egyptian Pyramids'. It features large-scale productions, props, costumes, and a circus performance. We will present it in Vitebsk for the first time," said Alexander Bulavintsev.
In Vitebsk, the circus tent is located on the site near the shopping centers "Euroopt" and "Materik" at Moskovsky Avenue, 130. On weekdays, performances start at 18:30, and on weekends - at 13:00 and 17:00. Children under 5 years old get free admission with a ticket for an adult.
