Brest regional hospital forges cooperation with Serbian colleagues
The meeting of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia for Natural Resources, Ecology and Environmental Protection will be held on February 25 in Minsk and Moscow via video conferencing, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Assembly.
"Parliamentarians will consider issues of preparing a joint proposal for the development of the Union State program "Program of joint activities of Belarus and Russia within the framework of the Union State to overcome the negative consequences of the Chernobyl NPP accident," the press service noted. In addition, the agenda of the meeting includes discussion of the preparation of new Union State projects for the modernization and development of the radiation monitoring system of the Union State using mobile platforms for radiometric measurements, as well as ensuring environmental safety in the field of waste management and secondary resources in the Union State.
Representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the Ministries of Emergency Situations of Belarus and Russia, the hydrometeorological services of the two countries, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation have been invited to participate in the meeting.
