Fateful historical events, which include many examples of courage and heroism, are the foundation that strengthens the unity of the two states. Strong ties are built at the interregional level on the basis of good neighborliness. Agreements between cities and districts of Vitebsk region and regions of the Russian Federation contribute to the deepening of partnership.

We expect that the implementation of the outlined plans will fill allied relations with dynamics. These include the innovative path of economic development, and the improvement of the well-being of Belarusians and Russians.
