To prevent accidents related to carbon monoxide poisoning, UP "Vitebskoblgaz" recommends strictly adhering to the requirements of the Rules for the Use of Gas in Everyday Life, timely checking the condition of smoke and ventilation ducts, and performing technical maintenance of heating and water-heating gas-using equipment.

Checks of smoke and ventilation ducts in residential buildings, as well as residential and non-residential premises, are carried out by specialized organizations upon application by the owners or their legal representatives, with the issuance of an act of the established form, as in the initial inspection.
