ATTENTION citizens receiving pensions, benefits for families raising children!

Due to legislative changes^[1], effective July 1, 2024, the procedure for receiving pensions and child-raising benefits by citizens will be modified.

Starting from July 1, 2024, citizens residing in the city of Minsk, cities of regional subordination, and district centers will have their pensions (benefits) paid through banks:

Pensions:

- for citizens under the age of 70;

- for disabled individuals of Group III;

Benefits for families raising children^[2] (excluding recipients of benefits with disabilities of Group I and II, and recipients of benefits where a child under 18 with a disability is being raised. These categories of citizens have the option to receive benefits through a bank or post office).

To receive your pension (benefit) at a bank, you must, no later than June 10, 2024:

- open a basic account at your chosen bank (you can opt for receiving funds at a bank teller or using a bank card);

- and simultaneously complete an application for direct deposit of your pension (benefit) at the bank.
