Dear citizens! In order to prevent bicycle theft, as well as other personal mobility devices (electric scooters, hoverboards, etc.), the Rossonsky District Department of Internal Affairs strongly urges you to:

- Do not leave your bicycle unattended on the stair landing, in stairwells, near entrances or shops;

- Mark the main parts of your bicycle, record their serial numbers – this will help identify the bicycle in case of theft. Alternatively, make a special mark and remember the distinctive features of your bicycle;

- Do not allow unauthorized persons into the entrances of residential buildings;

- Assist children and the elderly in transporting bicycles to their safe storage location;

- Pay attention to the presence of video surveillance cameras near where you park your bicycle;

- Purchase a locking device that prevents bicycle theft and use it when leaving your bicycle for a short period of time;

- Do not purchase bicycles from unknown individuals without proper documentation.

Adherence to these minimal rules will help prevent criminal offenses against you and preserve your property.
