The history of the Vitebsk Regional Directorate dates back to 1965 with the establishment of the Vitebsk District Boiler Supervision Inspectorate. The directorate currently supervises 1851 entities operating over 300 hazardous production facilities and 26 thousand potentially hazardous facilities. And each of them must comply with regulations and other safety parameters. Today, the Vitebsk Regional Directorate, including the Novopolotsk and Orsha Interdistrict Departments, has 67 employees.
