Citizens who own personal mobility vehicles

Citizens who own vehicles that, as of September 1, 2025, were classified as personal mobility devices are hereby informed that the simplified procedure for assessing the aforementioned vehicles in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 295 of August 4, 2025, is carried out until September 1, 2026. To conduct an on-site assessment of vehicle compliance in the district centers of the Vitebsk region, the vehicle owner must: 1. Contact the regional traffic police department for a preliminary appointment or call RUP "Vitebsk CSM" at 8 (0212) 48-04-06. 2. Agree on the date and place of the assessment with the specialists of RUP "Vitebsk CSM". 3. During the assessment, the vehicle owner must have with them an identity document (passport or copy of passport) and documents for the device containing its technical characteristics, for the purpose of filling out an application and concluding an agreement. 4. After concluding the agreement, an inspection and measurement of the maximum design speed will be carried out. 5. Based on the assessment results, an act on determining compliance with vehicle types will be drawn up.
