Lukashenko signed a decree on price regulation measures

On June 13, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 171 "On Measures in the Field of Pricing," which adjusts certain decrees of the head of state. The document is aimed at ensuring unified approaches in the field of pricing and establishing a more transparent mechanism for forming export prices for certain goods. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Thus, amendments have been made to Decree No. 550 of December 5, 2013, which stipulate that the maximum permissible increase in payments by the population for housing and communal services should not exceed 0.5 of the base value (instead of the previously established dollar equivalent).

Taking into account the established practice of regulating prices (tariffs), amendments have been made to Decree No. 72 of February 25, 2011 "On Certain Issues of Price (Tariff) Regulation in the Republic of Belarus."

In addition, the effect of subparagraph 1.3.1 of paragraph 1 of Decree No. 6 of May 7, 2012, which granted commercial organizations located in rural areas the right to export skimmed milk powder and butter without exchange trading on the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, has been suspended.
