Lukashenko: Singapore's attention to the EAEU will serve as an impetus for new areas of cooperation

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of Singapore Halimah Yacob and the people of this country on their national holiday. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Over the years of sovereignty, your country has become the largest financial center in Southeast Asia, a regional leader in such fields as the electronics industry, informatization, and pharmaceuticals," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State expressed confidence that the intensification of dialogue between Minsk and Singapore, including on issues of trade and economic, investment, and humanitarian cooperation, and the expansion of the treaty and legal framework fully correspond to common interests.

"I believe that Singapore's attention to our regional integration project – the Eurasian Economic Union – will serve as an incentive for finding new mutually beneficial areas of cooperation," the Belarusian leader noted.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Halimah Yacob good health and the fulfillment of her plans, and the people of Singapore – happiness and prosperity.
