60 representatives from various fields have been awarded state decorations. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on September 7. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The orders, medals, and honorary titles have been awarded for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, exemplary performance of official duties, courage and bravery shown in rescuing people during a fire, merits in military service and protection of the state border, significant personal contribution to the improvement of the tax system, implementation of the country's socio-economic policy, development of forestry production, transport industry, machine building and agriculture, outstanding achievements in education, healthcare, science, culture and sports.

The Order "For Service to the Motherland" III degree was awarded to Andrey Gurinovich, head of the medical unit (special purpose) of the state institution "432nd Red Star Order Central Military Clinical Medical Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus", and Pavel Kharchenko, head of the 14th Border Detachment of the Border Service.

Alexander Podobed, a locksmith-electrician at OJSC "Management Company of Holding "Belkommunmash", was awarded the Order of Honor.

Nikita Dedin, a police driver of the Luninets Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Security Department, was awarded the medal "For a Saved Life".

Among those awarded the medal "For Distinction in Military Service" is Pavel Lebedev, deputy head of a department of the State Border Committee's administration; the medal "For Distinction in Protecting the State Border" was awarded to Sergey Klimenkov, head of a department of the State Border Committee's main directorate; the medal "For Labor Merits" was awarded to Vladimir Berezovsky, dean of the accounting and economics faculty of the Belarusian State Economic University; the medal of Francysk Skaryna was awarded to Tamara Surago, a history and social studies teacher at the Valevskaya Secondary School of the Novogrudok District.

The decree also conferred honorary titles of the Republic of Belarus. Igor Khlebus, head of the military band service of the Armed Forces - head of the state institution "Honored Collective of the Republic of Belarus 'Exemplary Military Band of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus'", and Yulia Shcherbakova, a vocal accompanist in the opera troupe of the National Academic Grand Opera and Ballet Theatre, became Honored Artists.

The title of Honored Educator was awarded to Lyudmila Nekhorosheva, Head of the Department of Industrial Enterprise Economics at Belarusian State Economic University.

Sergey Avakov, General Director of OJSC "Planar", became an Honored Industrial Worker.

The title of Honored Agricultural Worker was awarded to Petr Kashtelyan, General Director of Grodno Breeding Enterprise, and Aleksey Mikulich, Director of KUPP "Mankovichi" of Stolin District.

Vladimir Puchko, Director of the Bus Depot of Baranovichi, was awarded the honorary title of Honored Transport Worker, and Igor Butkevich, First Deputy Chairman of the State Border Committee, was awarded the title of Honored Border Guard.

Anton Smolsky, an athlete-instructor of the national biathlon team of the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Winter Sports "Raubichi", became an Honored Master of Sports.

By his decree, Alexander Lukashenko also announced Gratitude from the President of the Republic of Belarus for many years of fruitful work in the tax authorities, exemplary performance of official duties, significant achievements in professional activities, a significant personal contribution to ensuring legality, strengthening law and order, as well as fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities, and a significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists for the economic sectors.
