Belarus to hold talks with Vietnam on draft visa waiver agreement

Head of State Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 383, approving as a basis for negotiations the draft intergovernmental agreement between Belarus and Vietnam on the abolition of visas for holders of national passports. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the President.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is authorized to conduct negotiations and sign the agreement upon reaching an understanding within the approved draft.

By another decree, the President approved as a basis for negotiations the draft agreement between Belarus and Vietnam on the transfer of persons convicted of deprivation of liberty for further serving their sentences. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is authorized to conduct negotiations and sign the agreement upon reaching an understanding within the approved draft.
