A Republican organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly has been established in Belarus.

On February 2, Head of State Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree establishing the Republican Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the first meeting of the seventh All-Belarusian People's Assembly. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the President.

The organizing committee includes a number of high-ranking officials, heads of ministries, chairpersons of regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee, as well as representatives of other state bodies. It is headed by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.

In addition to organizational issues, the organizing committee is also tasked with widely covering the work being carried out and informing the public about the delegates of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly in the media.
