President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the staff of the National Branch (Representative Office) of the Interstate Television and Radio Company "Mir" on the 30th anniversary of its establishment in Belarus.

BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader. "Over these years, your team has achieved the main thing - it has won the trust of tens of millions of residents of the vast Eurasian space. Today, the National Representative Office is our pride and a bright star in the large constellation of the Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company," the congratulatory message reads. The Head of State noted that the current anniversary date falls on a very difficult and eventful time: "It is precisely now that the work of journalists who are ready to defend the country's position both in word and deed has special value." Alexander Lukashenko noted that thanks to the news materials and documentary projects of the television and radio company's employees, the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States know about the life of Belarus, its people, and its achievements. The President wished the staff of the National Branch of the Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company good health, professional development, and new creative successes.
