Lukashenko: Belarus is ready to set up more joint ventures with Kazakhstan

Belarus is ready to expand cooperation with Kazakhstan on the creation of joint ventures. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belarus Yerlan Baizhanov, BelTA reports.

"We have established good joint ventures with you for the production of combines, tractors, and elevators. Further promotion of our technologies and the creation of joint ventures based on them in Kazakhstan and Belarus are planned. We are ready to support you at any moment. Any of your wishes on the territory of Belarus are law for us. We are ready to expand our cooperation in terms of creating joint ventures," the head of state said.

Currently, 55 enterprises with Kazakh capital are registered in Belarus, including 17 joint ventures and 38 foreign enterprises.

More than 170 subjects of the supply chain of Belarusian enterprises operate in Kazakhstan. Cooperation projects are being implemented for the joint production of tractor, agricultural, automotive and trailer, fire and emergency rescue equipment, as well as elevator equipment.
