President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the servicemen and veterans of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the anniversary of the formation of these troops. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the head of state.

"You perform a difficult service around the clock, ensuring public safety, guarding especially important state facilities, defusing and destroying explosive devices. You pay great attention to military-patriotic clubs, raising young defenders of our Fatherland," the congratulation reads.

The courage, bravery, patriotism, high level of training and combat capabilities of the internal troops' fighters are an unbreakable foundation for ensuring law and order and protecting the peaceful labor of Belarusian citizens, the head of state emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko addressed words of special gratitude to the veterans who made an invaluable contribution to the formation and development of the internal troops. "Like a relay of valor and honor, you pass on traditions and your priceless life experience to the new young recruits," the President noted.

According to him, the combat brotherhood, strength and patience, energy and self-sacrifice, professionalism of all generations of internal troops servicemen from private to general deserve great respect.

The head of state thanked them all for their dedication to the cause, honest and impeccable service, and also wished them good health and further success in the noble cause of serving the Fatherland: "Take care of yourselves, your loved ones, and our native Belarus!"
