Lukashenko confirmed Belarus's interest in expanding cooperation with Cameroon

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of Cameroon Paul Biya on the National Day of the Republic of Cameroon. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"For the Cameroonian people, this holiday is one of the most important national symbols of unity and patriotism," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State confirmed Belarus's interest in expanding cooperation with this country in various areas, primarily on issues of trade and economic cooperation.

"I am confident that the implementation of projects in Cameroon in the field of agricultural mechanization, infrastructure development, and mining and processing of mineral resources with the participation of the Belarusian side could contribute to further strengthening the agrarian and industrial potential of the state for the benefit of its citizens," the President emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Paul Biya good health, happiness, and success, and the people of Cameroon - peace and prosperity.
