Belarus and Russia are discussing the construction of a high-speed highway from Moscow to Brest. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on October 21, while hearing a report on the development of the network of republican highways and the formation of transport infrastructure ensuring hourly accessibility to satellite cities, a BELTA correspondent reports.

"With the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, we agreed that in the near future we will discuss the construction of a high-speed highway through Belarus from Moscow to the west. To Brest, at least. If the Westerners want to participate, we will work towards Berlin. If not, it will be to Brest and back east. This, one might say, is already a foregone conclusion," Alexander Lukashenko stated.
