Lukashenko suggests cutting production of potash fertilizers
Belarus has a sea of requests for potash and joint fertilizer production. This was stated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on November 4, while approving the appointment of Andrey Rybakov as General Director of JSC "Belaruskali", as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"Yes, today Western countries are blocking potash fertilizer supplies. But I have a sea of requests. I will not name these states, which say: 'Let's do it together and sell complex, mixed fertilizers.' We need to go for this: we will deliver potash somewhere, there is a plant on the border somewhere - we mix fertilizers and sell them abroad together. The demand is huge: there will always be a great demand for food, and what kind of food is there without mineral fertilizers? Therefore, we need to engage with states with which we can produce these fertilizers," said Alexander Lukashenko.

The President noted that it is necessary to more actively push into foreign markets, especially since the directions of work have "already been identified." "If Europe doesn't want to work with us - God be with them," he emphasized.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should be the main executor in these matters, said the head of state. "They must help our export-oriented enterprises and ministries. This is our main task," stated Alexander Lukashenko.
