Lukashenko thanks Xi Jinping for new swimming pool in Minsk
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko thanked PRC Chairman Xi Jinping for the construction of the Olympic standard swimming pool in Minsk at the grand opening ceremony, BELTA correspondent reports.
Alexander Lukashenko spoke about how the Chinese leader showed him a model of the future swimming pool, and now this facility is open. Moreover, China is ready to provide technical assistance in the construction of several more socially significant facilities in the future.
"We are indebted to this person and the great Chinese people," said the Belarusian leader.
