Lukashenko reaffirms Belarus’ commitment to supporting Sudan in several areas
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan Abdel Fattah al-Burhan Abdel Rahman al-Burhan and the entire Sudanese people on the national holiday - Independence Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Your country is currently going through a difficult stage that requires maximum consolidation of society in order to establish peace, political stability and return basic sectors of the economy to normal functioning," the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State noted that Minsk is ready to support Khartoum in implementing food security projects, organizing medical care, supplying agricultural and utility equipment, and training personnel.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Abdel Fattah al-Burhan Abdel Rahman al-Burhan good health and the fulfillment of plans, and the friendly Sudanese people - harmony, progress, and a peaceful future.
