Plans to open at least five technology parks in Minsk within five years
Over the next five-year period, at least five new technoparks will appear in Minsk. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during his visit to the Minsk City Technopark, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"We needed to look at our own creation (Minsk City Technopark, which was established on the unused territories of the motorcycle and bicycle plant. - Ed. BELTA). Now we are planning - the city executive committee will create about five technoparks within the territory of Minsk. Gradually, we will create similar technoparks - larger and smaller ones. At the "Horizont" plant, as we used to call it, we will develop corresponding high-tech industries. There will be less iron and more brains there," the President said.
