Lukashenko awarded Myanmar's highest government award
Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing awarded President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko the Order of the Union of Myanmar, First Class. The ceremony took place after negotiations between the heads of state in Minsk, BELTA correspondent reports.
The Order of the Union of Myanmar is the country's highest civilian award, conferred by the government. Alexander Lukashenko was honored for his contribution to the development of friendly bilateral cooperation in various fields.
"This is an advance payment, I understand. I will do everything to justify it," the President stated.
