Lukashenko: Memory of the Great Victory is part of the national idea of Belarusians
The working schedule of the President of Belarus is always very eventful. Alexander Lukashenko holds meetings and working sessions on the most pressing issues of the country's development, regularly visits regions, makes foreign visits and receives foreign guests himself, communicates with journalists, signs decrees and laws.
And even when there are no public events, it does not mean that the head of state is not working. However, even during his leisure time, whether it's a hockey practice or chopping wood, Alexander Lukashenko always finds a reason for another assignment. As he likes to say, one must always proceed from life.

It can be said that the entire working week of the head of state was devoted to issues of regional development, with an emphasis on the eastern regions of the country. These are also, as a rule, the most problematic ones. On Monday, in the urban-type settlement of Kopys, they discussed the development of small settlements, and the next day in Shklov, the discussion was about creating a model at the district level. Everywhere Alexander Lukashenko focuses on the development of the production sector, maintaining discipline and order, and creating conditions for a comfortable life for people, including the construction of rental housing.
Already on Friday, the state of affairs in the Gomel region was discussed during a report on the development of territories affected by the Chernobyl disaster. On the same day, an important personnel decision was made, which concerned the Vitebsk region. Sergey Levkovich, the new First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, previously worked as an Aide to the President in this region. Therefore, the scope of work is more than known, and the Vitebsk region itself faces a serious exam in the near future - after the necessary checks at the Presidential level, a comprehensive meeting will be held. However, other eastern regions should not relax either, as they have many common problems.
