Lukashenko criticizes failures in clean-up and landscaping work

Amendments have been made to Decree No. 136 of April 7, 2022 "On the State Administration Body in the Field of Digital Development and Informatization" in order to improve state regulation of digital development. The corresponding Decree No. 200 was signed on May 19 by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The document is aimed at further activating regional digital development using funds from local innovation funds, expanding the list of services provided by industry digitalization offices and RUP "Center for Digital Development" to government bodies and organizations at the expense of budget funds, including those related to planning their digital development, supporting information systems, and scaling up pilot projects.

Taking into account the significance of digital development issues for the economy, the decree also stipulates that the Prime Minister of Belarus oversees the Ministry of Communications and Informatization and chairs the Supervisory Board of the High-Tech Park.
