Belarus ratifies agreement with Myanmar on protection of classified information
Head of State Alexander Lukashenko signed the Law "On the Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on Mutual Protection of Secret Information". This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
This agreement was signed in Minsk on March 7, 2025, during the official visit of the Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing to Belarus.
The agreement is concluded for the mutual protection of secret information and in the interests of strengthening friendly relations between the countries. This will create a legal framework for the protection of state secrets of Belarus in the implementation of bilateral cooperation with Myanmar in military, military-technical, scientific-technical and other fields.
